I hope you guys are having an awesome start to your week! I have been really busy with my clients lately which is awesome but also working part time I am able to spend more time with all my friends, family and people I barely used to get to see.  I joined a really great Bible study recently and so just getting to focus on the small things means a lot to me right now… Especially because I am around so many moms I always feel like I get to ask for advice on anything from car seats to lotions. Enjoy your week beauties!

Casual Friday

Arden B Shirt // Necklace Nordstrom // Maternity Jeans Gap // Guess Flats // Crossbody Bag Target // Pandora Rings // Essie Polish Boom Boom Room

This outfit is so perfect for a day of running errands and just being comfy. I love looks like this because its so laid back but it also has a style to it. These maternity jeans I got at Gap maternity and have been living in them, they are my go to jeans right now. I put this bag in one of my posts from earlier in the week and I hope some of you pick it up because it goes with everything and just adds that pop of color to your outfit to make it a little more exciting. How I Eat Healthy Durning Pregnancy

The number one thing I have struggled with while being pregnant was my weight. I was craving everything bad for you. You name it, I wanted it. Anything from chips to ice cream to greasy pizza. But for the first three months I was pretty sick, I woke up nauseous and went to sleep nauseous. The sight of food I couldn't even deal with so as soon as I was able to eat without wanting to toss my cookies I was all over it! Now that I'm out of my first trimester I've been craving things, nothing weird just when I want something I want it NOW! I'm going to give you some foods that are really good for you but taste good at the same time. And please if you're like me (always weighing yourself) STOP! throw away the scale now or have your hubby hide it because its not going to do anything but make you feel bad. As long as you are healthy and your doctor says everything is ok than don't sweat it.

Breakfast Options:

On the Go --> Protein Smoothie
What you will need:

Any kind of fresh fruit you like. I chose Strawberries, Blueberries and a Banana. 1/2 cup of each
Milk (Soy milk, Fat free, skim  etc.) 1/2 cup
Ice cubes 1/2 cup
Protein Powder (I use the plant protein from Whole Foods vanilla flavored) 1/2 scoop

Serving is for a single serve but you can make a bigger serving if you want to make it for a couple days.

Have more time -->  Cheesy Buffalo style Eggs with Avocado and Turkey Bacon
sometimes I make the eggs with just cheese and no Franks but whatever you prefer is fine.

What you will need:

3 Eggs
Handful of part skim cheese
Salt
Pepper
Franks Red Hot Sauce
1/2 an Avocado
2 Pieces of Turkey Bacon

I cook the bacon first and then cook the eggs. Just season the eggs with salt and pepper and when they are almost cooked just sprinkle the cheese on top. Put the bacon and eggs on the plate and then put your desired amount of buffalo sauce on top of the eggs. Then cut your avocado in half and slice it up. Ta da! You have a healthy and easy breakfast that is packed with protein.

Hope you guys enjoy these recipes and next week I will show you what I like to make for lunches and How I fight my sweet tooth cravings. xoxo, Tori

Summer Time Essentials

Mac Blush Peaches // Essie Play Date // Essie Fiji // Flower Bomb Perfume //  Floral Pants Forever 21, similar here // YSL lipstick // Forever Nude Palette // Covergirl lip color.

These are my Summer essentials. As the weather is getting warmer I'm gravitating towards anything feminie and floral! I try to switch up my scent with the season and this perfume I picked up at Sephora a couple weeks ago. Let me just tell you, I am in LOVE! Its so perfect for the spring/summer time and it leaves you smelling fresh all day. If you are an all in one kind of girl then this Forever Nude palette by BH cosmetics is for you. It comes with eyeshadows, lip tints and Blush! I like to take this palette with me if I'm traveling or throw it in my tote if I'm on the go for some touch ups! Oh and did I mention that it is only $12? It doesn't get much better than that! I've been loving Essie nail polishes lately and I've been really happy with these two colors that I listed above. I hope you guys like some of these products and these pants I am dying over because they are so comfortable! Enjoy your night beauties! xoxo, Tori

Things I'm loving at 17 weeks

Now that I'm starting to show I am into anything that makes me comfortable and is easy. No more carrying around a big bag, no no.. I've been obsessed with cross body bags that I can just throw a couple things in and go. This one I linked below is a little over $20 and is from Target. The color is perfect for the summer and surprisingly goes with anything! Speaking of comfortable, I've been loving maxi dresses! Now that the weather has been nice they are all that I want to wear. This one if from the guess outlet and the stripes are perfect for all you expecting mommy's. If you're going to be wearing maxi's this summer you need a pair of good spanx, whether or not you're preggo its a good idea though! Ever since I found out I was pregnant I've been trying really hard to drink enough water every day so I picked up this nalgene bottle a couple months ago and I fill it up twice a day to get the amount of water I need everyday! Its such an easy way to remember to drink up! Having trouble sleeping? This pregnancy pillow has been a God send for me! I had to get used to sleeping on my side and I could never get comfortable, introducing the bump nest.. Its amazing and so cute! The pillow cases are machine washable and you can order a different one to change the pattern. Last but not least this stretch mark cream has been recommended to me by one of my fellow preggo's, she started to notice stretch marks pretty early in her pregnancy (she's so teeny tiny) she said once she started using this cream, poof! they were gone. So you best believe I ordered this right away! I hope you enjoy some of my favorites so far into this pregnancy and if you have anything I should try let me know! Have a great Monday loves!

Its a Boy!

So… we are having a boy! Mark and I are so excited to share with you all! I can't even believe that I'm going to be a boys mom but at the same time if feels so right. I've had some experience with boys while I was a nanny, so I am looking forward to it. I get mixed reviews because some people tell me boys are so easy and then other people say that they are a handful but whatever it may be I'm ready for the adventure. A couple weeks ago my husband Mark and I went to have a 3D ultra sound done so we could find out the gender and hear the heart beat… If you're a first time mom I highly recommend doing this! It was so amazing to see this little baby growing and moving in your belly. It helped me bond with him so much more as well, because it makes it seem so real. It was both emotional and so exciting to see him that clearly. I'm not a very emotional/crying type of person but when it comes to this baby boy, bring on the water works. I am so excited to hold him in about 4 and a half months, time seems to be going by so quickly and I couldn't be more excited! I hope you guys have a great weekend and a happy mothers day to all you mommy's!

16 Weeks!

How Far Along: 16 weeks.
Total Weight Gain: 6 lbs
Stretch Marks? None.
Sleep: My legs are a little restless at night so it makes it harder to fall asleep.
Best Moment this Week? We found out what we are having!! (I will make a post later this week with all the details)
Miss anything? I have an addiction to Starbucks coffee so not being able to drink it like I used to because it has SO much caffeine in it, is kind of hard. I've had to ween myself off of it.
Movement? Sometimes I feel like I can feel some flutters in there but its probably just my imagination!
Food Cravings? Celery and cream cheese.
What are you most excited for? Putting together the babes nursery! We ordered the sheets from this amazing website. If you're looking for things for your nursery like bedding you need to get it here. Its so unique and cute, I died over all of it! We ended up choosing these, they are currently sold out but all the other styles are perfect as well! ---> ivie baby
Nervous about anything? I'm nervous about everything I feel like, but mostly I'm nervous about just making sure I'm doing everything right taking care of myself while my baby is inside me.
How do you feel? I feel really good but sometimes I'm just exhausted if I push myself too much. I need to remind myself it doesn't matter if the house is spotless everyday, I'm a little OCD sometimes.

I hope you guys had a good weekend! I got to spend time with my family which is always nice and talking with my sister (who is 3 days more pregnant than me) makes me so excited! I can't wait to start getting stuff ready for the baby. I will post pictures of the process of the nursery, the before and after and some cheap DIY things for organization! Thanks for reading loves!
xoxo, Tori
